I had always loved the salon environment and knew I had “the touch” for it, but wouldn't go to hair school due to my own hair thinning issues. It was something that not only kept me from pursuing a career in this business, but it also caused distress in my professional and personal life.  As much as anyone hates to

admit it....hair is a BIG DEAL.

My hair problem started over 25 years ago, when I spent too much on hair "fixes" and was left unsatisfied, frustrated and no better off than when I started.  I struggled for years and tried to tell myself no one noticed, but they did. And sometimes, people would say things. Maybe they weren't trying to be unkind, but it was usually embarrassing and hurtful. When I finally found my solution, 

it changed who I was.
